While the Postal Service is busy closing post offices across the country, from Berkeley to the Bronx, and in places like Frestatt, Mo., and Franklin, N.J., the Postmaster General flew out to Williston, North Dakota, last week to meet with Senator John Hoeven to talk about opening a new post office in town.  Apparently with all the new apartment complexes opening up, there's more business at the current postal facilities than they can handle.  According to the local news, "Hoeven says Donahoe is a businessman and will make sure everyone gets their mail." Read more.

Hopefully the PMG will take some time to do a little fishing while he's in the Williston area.  The Missouri River runs just west of town and it's a great place for sauger.  Apparently the senator likes to do some fishing himself.
